Afte eading the ook, we we e watching animal planet and they we e talking a out how these a e eed of monkey a e loosing thei ha itat ecause of logging in Malaysia and my son said, "that is just like in the Lo ax mommy, we shouldn't cut down so many t ees and make the monkeys go away should we?" I was so imp essed that he was a le to apply what he had ead f om a child en's ook to what he saw on a p og am.
How to pronounce Dr.Suess語
D .Suessの本が大好きで，よく読んでいるのですが一つ自分ではどうしようもないことがあります。それは辞書を引いても決して見つけることは出来ないD .Suess語がちらほら出てくること。意味はだいたい推測がつくのですが、文章全体に韻を多用しているため音が楽しめないとD .Suessの独特の世界の魅力が半減！！！ということで初めてオーディオテープを購入してみました。１人の役者さんが登場人物２匹（？）とナレーターを全てこなしているので、どうかなあ？？？とあまり期待してなかったんですが，実に巧みに演じ分けてくれているので、本当に楽しく「The Lo ax」を堪能できます。しわがれた声やあやしげな擬音語なんて最高ですよ。
