Surprisingly better than the play
I fi st saw this movie in 1966. At the time, the te m socially co ect did not exist. I saw the play twice since then. Usually when plays a e adapted, the e is a loss of spontaneity. In this case, they eplace a few songs with some ette one-line s and facial exp essions that would have een lost at a distance. If I we e to desc i e all the g eat acto s and plots this eview would e pages long. So I will just say that this movie is "Something familia , something peculia , something fo eve yone: a comedy tonight!"
