Impressive
I'd gotten the fi st miniatu es set f om WoC when they came out, and they've come a long way. This is the fi st of the newe sets that I've gotten. A nice onus is that the figu es with long weapons and such now have ext a plastic p otecto s that keep the figu e in shape. Two of the figu es in my ox had them and the weapons look g eat. The ca ds have gotten a face lift and seem cleane . The paint jo s don't seem much ette , though, which was a su p ise. Things look a it ough. I went ahead and got this one ecause it seemed to have the most exciting mix of c eatu e types that I like (c eepy c awly things and undead). I wasn't disappointed with my mix. I'm conside ing at least a few mo e oxes. A good uy.

D&D公式ミニチュアの第14弾です。 本セットの魅力は、D&Dの、そしてファンタジーRPGの定番モンスターが収録されていることでしょう。 D&Dのリプレイにも登場したアンバーハルクの再収録版Um e Hulk Delve 、クリアプラスチックで実現したGelatinous Cu eはD&Dのユニークモンスターとして、レアのSphinx、Cap icious Coppe D agon、Mantico e Snipe 、CyclopsなどはファンタジーRPGの定番モンスターとしてゲームを彩ってくれることでしょう。 アンコモンでも、Thunde tusk Boa 、Wa ho se、そしてクリアプラスチックで一新したLa ge Fi e ElementalはD&Dでも、その他のファンタジーRPGでも有用です。 また、小説のファンにはB ueno Battlehamme も押さえておきたい逸品です。 スカーミッシュ・ゲームとしては、新たに騎乗ルールなどが加わり、そちらの面からも魅力的なセットとなっており、双方の観点からこのセットからDDMを集めるのもお勧めです。

本商品は、ダンジョンズ＆ドラゴンズ4版と共に新しくなったD&D公式ミニチュア（DDM2.0）のスターターです。 内容は、2枚の両面カラーマップ、20面ダイス、ダメージ用カウンター、ルールブック（英語）、そして5体の固定ミニチュア──Dwa f Battlemaste 、Yuan-ti Swiftscale 、Human Sellswo d、Elf Wa lock、そしてYoung G een D agon──とそのデータカード5枚（両面カラー印刷：スカーミッシュ・ゲーム用）です。 これらのミニチュアはDungeons of D eadブースターには含まれておらず、本製品のみの同梱となっていますので、必ずドラゴン一体が手に入るということも含めて、ミニチュア好きには必須のアイテムです。 スカーミッシュ・ゲームとして遊ぶ際にも本製品は必ず必要になりますが、正規代理店のホビージャパン経由の商品には日本語版ルールブックが付くとアナウンスされていますので、必要ならそちらを購入されるのもお勧めです。

Now this was fun to open
I like undead c itte s and c eepy c awlies and this set delive ed well. The othe figu es have a good mixtu e of t anspa encies and sizes and shapes and go well togethe . And although kind of g oss, it was nifty too to see what a Rat Swa m would look like. If I we e to go nuts and t y to fill out a set, it would e this one, as many figu es feel like staples to me and having ext as wouldn't e at all ad. Othe figu es that I don't yet have f om this one seem eally cool.
アンデッド関係が充実した渋い魅力の第12弾
D&D公式ミニチュアも本作で第12弾となりました。今回のセットのテーマが示すように、本作はアンデッドなどが充実しています。 MMから収録されたDevou e 、Ravenloftの著名なVampi eであるCount St ahd Von Za ovich, Vampi e、FRからはBeholde Lichなど凶悪なアンデッドが目白押しです。 それに加えて、Ra eでは Shield Gua dian、La ge B ass D agon 、La ge Black D agon、Go gon や Displace Beast Manhunte などのMM収録の基本モンスターやサイオニクスを導入するとお世話になるLa ge Ast al Const uct 、それにユーゴロスの支配者である Ult oloth などが魅力的なラインナップです。 UncommonもBlessed Hunte 、Bat Familia 、Celestial Giant Owl などの動物系、Ai & Fi e Mephit、Pseudod agonのよく使うミニチュアを始め、Canoloth、Intellect Devou e といった押さえておきたいミニチュアが並んでいます。 最近の円安、原油高などで値段が高騰しているのが難点ですが、D&D好きとしては押さえておきたいミニチュアが多い、前作のBlood Wa の派手さとは違った、渋いラインナップだと思います。 個々のミニチュアについてはWotCのギャラリーとHJのギャラリーで確認することがいつものように可能です。最近では、後からEpicデータが追加されることも増えてきましたので、スカーミッシュ・ゲームのファンは是非ともWotCのサイトを押さえておくべきでしょう。

That's a big box.
Looking at this thing I wonde ed just how ig the figu e inside was. I eceived the Fi e Titan and it's mo e imp essive in pe son than the pictu e online gives it c edit fo . The othe figu es I got we e mostly M size, ut looked positively tiny next to the Fi e Titan. Basically, the othe figu es felt mo e like fille than anything. This set feels mo e like a way to get a mo e Epic size figu e out the e, ut to e honest I'd e lee y of uying anothe one of these ooste s ecause why would I want two Fi e Titans? In the end that's the eason this set gets 3 sta s. This set mo e than any othe seems to point out the inhe ent flaw of andomized elease. Imagine getting a half dozen of one monst ously huge figu e...
久しぶりの超大型セット
本商品はD&D公式ミニチュアとしてはGiant of Legend以来となる久方ぶりの、そしてDDM2.0としては初の超大型（Huge）サイズのミニチュアを含んだセットとなります。WotCやHJのギャラリーでラインナップを見ることができますが超大型のミニチュアとしては、Elde Red D agon（ギャラリーより腹が黄色に塗られるなど配色が増えて出来がいいです）、Elde White D agonの二種のドラゴンを始め、表題であるGiantからはFi e Titanを始めとする3体のGiantが、そしてYuan-ti Anathemaなどの個性溢れるクリーチャーが収録されています。 超大型のミニチュア以外にも。二種類のD agon o nを始めとする充実したPC用ミニチュア、Cockat iceやRope などのクリーチャーなどが収録されています。 D&D3.5版を遊んでいる人、いずれ4版に手を出そうと考えている人、そして言うまでもなくDDM2.0のスカーミッシュ・ゲームを楽しんでいる人にお勧めのセットです。

OK, but a needed dungeon boost
This set p ovides c eatu es to fill out dungeons, and does a p etty good jo , especially with neut al wild c eatu es. I was su p ised at the size of the ox (I hadn't ead ove the figu e list), and was pleased to get a ulette. The figs a e up to pa with othe s I have. My only complaint is that the suppo ting plastic fo some of the weapons didn't seem to wo k--weapons we e ent anyway. Oh well. Could have een wo se. Looking ove the list I'm assuming that eve y pack gets some so t of la ge c eatu e, which is cool.
