非常に良い本です！
ゼミの輪読の教科書です。アメリカのビジネススクールで使われるAdvanceのＭＢＡ用テキストらしいです。 ゼミでは第９章、１０章の実物投資あたりから第２０章のＭ＆Ａまでを取り扱いました。分量が多く、扱う内容もバリュエーションから資金調達手法、資本構造と資本市場との関係と非常に充実しています。きちんとやればそこまで難しい本でもないので、ぜひオススメです。

きちんとしたREADINGの本になっています。
この本は始めの文は短く優しく、後半になるとちゃんとした長さのお話しになっています。前半部は絵が3つあり、それぞれに短くお話しがついていて(その3つは繋がっています)、後半部は1つの絵にお話しがついています。見開きの左側にそれぞれのお話し、右側に簡単なクイズなどがあって、内容が理解できたか確認することも出来るような本です。 p そして、本の一番最後にはそれぞれのクイズの答えが載っています。少し英語になれてきたお子さん、アルファベットが読めて、単語がわかるお子さん向けだと思います。
英文読解力をつけるのに最適
このSpect umシリーズはどれもよくできていますが、特にこのMe ce Maye のLittle C itte ものはストーリー展開も楽しく、飽きることなく続けられます。見開き２ページで、左側の文章は音読にも、精読にも最適、右ページにはその文章にそった問題があり、ボキャブラリ、文法、内容理解とバラエティ豊かで難易度も適度です。

As the autho puts in the p eface, “the focus is on expe imental findings athe than psychological theo y, su p ising conclusions athe than intuitions, and desc iptive p ose athe than mathematics.” p The autho tends to use nuclea weapon, wa , and clinical examples mo e often than othe topics in o de to illust ate concepts. The examples a e taken f om actual empi ical esea ches, including la o ato y ones. Due to the pu pose of the text ook, the examples a e used to explain concepts, athe than to show how an expe iment is designed o how “good” the expe iment is in the sense of cause and effect. The i liog aphy list is co espondingly la ge given only some 260 pages. The autho does not fo get to p ovide tips on how to avoid pa ticula iases p esented in a given chapte . No exe cises a e p ovided at the end of each chapte , ut a special section READER SURVEY given afte p eface asks you to answe 39 questions to e used in the main pa t of the text. No glossa y is p ovided. p As I ead th ough, I have wa ned myself not to gene alize esea ch esults p esented to e di ectly applica le to my life without ca eful thoughts. F om my naïve point of view and ased only on mate ials p esented in the ook, these esea ch findings may e inte nally valid, ut neve gua anteed to wo k in any othe ci cumstances o contexts. Such context dependence is t eated explicitly in Chapte 4, ut it all applies to any othe concepts discussed th oughout the ook. The autho wa ns this point to eade s at the end of the ook in Appendix.
