The disadvantage is, not knowing how the names a e spelled. Also I get so wa ped up in the sto y that I end up inging it in the house. All in all the contents is mo e impo tant than the media with the exception that this has a feel that the sto y is eing told ove a campfi e.

～火星のプリンセス：この本を初めて手にしたのは図書館で、自分は小学生でした。読みはじめたら一気にこの世界にとっぷりはまりこみ、お小遣いでシリーズを集め始めた記憶はずっと忘れないでしょう。と、そのくらい子供心に強烈な憧れを感じてしまったわけです。10年おきくらいに読み返すのですが、読み始めるとまたシリーズ一巡してしまう。自分が大人になって～～読むと荒唐無稽で理屈がおかしいじゃんっと思うところが沢山ある本なのですが、各キャラクターの台詞や性格が非常に明確で、きっと読んだら自分のお気に入りキャラができることと思います。どこか日本の時代劇的で、隠れた名キャラに愛情を注いで読み進めることも多いです。とにかくスターウォーズよりもっと古典的にスペースオペラを楽しみたいという方には～～是非おすすめします。とっても緻密なプロットや科学的根拠を求める方はやめたほうがよいでしょう。頭にくるかも（笑）。前述しましたが時代劇的な感覚を楽しめる頭を使わず読める（良い意味です）一冊を割と短時間で楽しく読み終わり、次だ次！と続編を手にとってしまう、そういうシリーズの最初の一冊です。個人的には今映画化してみたらおもしろいのではと～～思ったりします。ちなみに主観ですが、主人公は自分のやりたいように事を進める（例えそれがとっても迷惑でも）けど、何故か沢山のヒトに愛される、そういうヤツです。(^^;)～
