Anita Blake Series 2冊目！
Anita Blakeのシリーズの2作目です。 でも邦訳は1冊目（Guilty Pleasu es）、3冊目（Ci cus of the Damned）と訳され本作は飛ばされてしまいました。 理由はおそらく「日本ではヴァンパイアものが人気なのにJean-Cloudeの出番が少ないから」だと思われます。 しかし、本来Anita Blakeシリーズがヒットしたのは主人公Anitaの絶対的な魅力。 そして本作はAnitaのネクロマンサーとしてのBack G ound、そして本来ネクロマンサーが いかに簡単に邪悪になれる存在かということを理解する上で非常に重要な一冊といえます。 そしてなにより、Anitaに秘められた無限のパワーを楽しめます。 私から言わせるとJean-Cloudeとの関係についても重要な一冊です。 確かに出番は少ないですが、すでに邦訳された他2冊はAnitaとJean-Cloudeが 性的に惹かれあう点ばかりが目につくように感じるのに比べ、本作はAnitaの 小さな頼みごとに喜びを感じ、ある意味でAnitaを恐れているJean-Cloudeの記述に 精神的なつながりを見出せます。 そして自分が失ってしまった2度ととりもどせないものをAnitaの存在でつなぎとめようかと するようなJean-Cloudeの悲しみの片鱗にAnitaが触れ、自分をHuman Se vantにしようと する意図を「Almost hono a le」とまで理解したのが印象的です。 今後、このシリーズは他でもJean-Cloudeの出番が少ない本があります。 それも邦訳は飛ばしてしまうのでしょうか？ 本当の意味でのAnita Blakeファンを日本にも増やすために是非翻訳は 漏らさずしてほしいです。
シリーズ第2作
ストーリーはかなり簡潔に書かれていますが、レヴューをごらんください。つきつめるとそういうことになります。 第1作目のGuilty Pleasu esはヴァンパイアがメインの話でしたが、今回はAnitaが本職のAnimato として活躍します。 非現実世界を舞台にカトリック教徒として育てられた主人公が、死者をゾンビーとしてよみがえらせるという仕事を p 職業としているというかなり大胆な設定になれるのに多少時間がかかるかもしれません。

Ca pathinianには珍しい、黄金の髪と瞳をもつAiden。本編で初めて登場するシーンでは、さながら悪魔に立ち向かう大天使ミカエルのような美しさでとっても素敵♪「Da k P ince」「Da k Desi e」と比べるとロマンス色が強く、二人の心の葛藤が細かく描かれており、また二人がかわす会話もとってもおもしろかったです。今までの暗いイメージがちょっと変わるかも？

ストーリーはレヴューをご覧ください。 Anita Blakeシリーズはヴァンパイアものに分類されますが、Anitaの本職のAnimato としての話が主題です。 非現実世界で死者をゾンビーとしてよみがえらせることを仕事としているAnitaは業界トップの腕前です。 p 今回はJean-ClaudeもRicha dもほとんど出てきません。3人の関係に注目している方にとっては物足りないかもしれませんが、この作品は後々Maste Nec omance となるAnitaの力をまざまざと示しております。 他の作品に比べると前作からの登場人物が少ないので、単独で読んでも楽しめるでしょう。
