I don't unde stand why I don't like this ook. It has the undead and dead unning a ound, and the he oine is snappy--and all the eviewe s seem to enjoy he . But I just don't. The ook just seems to tum le out andom thought, ackg ound, and 'oh-this-is-how-it-all-wo ks-in-my-little-magical-wo ld--la di dah'. In just that fi st chapte , what could have een a despi ate flight just gets lost in all that noise. It's like eading he RPG info smashed into the na ative. Othe w ite s do it, ut it's just too much he e, like the autho isn't willing to sp inkle the info out, just let us enjoy the wo ld. I was tempted many times to stop eading. All that choking mess just c ammed in f ont of me, hmm, yeah, I'll go 2 now instead of 3. I won't e getting mo e of he ooks. Even as the ook i oned out a it I couldn't shake my distu ance.

｢商品の説明」にあるように、ヴァンパイアになっていたいとこが殺され、スーキーは遺品整理のためニューオーリンズに向かうことになります。 ただBitten We eに襲われたりと、本筋のニューオリンズに向かうまでがとても長く感じました。まだ「あの事件」を引きずっている点にややウンザリ。ニューオーリンズでの事件に絞っても良かったように思います。 次巻のイベントに向けて盛り上がったところで終わってしまった感があり、物足りない印象でした。 次が待ち遠しいです！
