おもしろかったぁ♪
Me cyシリーズ第2弾。今回の彼女は、ヴァンパイアの友人Stefanの頼みで、許可なく街に滞在しているヴァンパイアの元へ同行します。そこで、かつてないほど恐ろしい敵に遭遇することになります。 前作と比べ、やっぱりヴァンパイアがからむとどうしても血みどろになるし、怪我人も増える(笑)でもAdamをはじめおなじみのWe ewolf達もちゃんと登場しているし、Me cyとAdamの間にSamuelが入ってきて、何やら三角関係??な感じも。 前作よりエキサイティングでした。次回作ってあるのかな?待ち遠しい。

The tale she weaves of the pa ano mal among the no mal is completely elieva le while eing utte ly enticing and engaging. The e isn't a o ing moment in eithe Moon Called o Blood Bound yet thei is enough time away f om the action fo wonde ful cha acte development and the uilding of elationships. All in all, I found the ooks to e excellent and was not in any way disappointed y the sequel, Blood Bound. It was pe fect f om sta t to finish and has left me dying fo mo e. I would, without any hesitation, ecommend this ook - wholehea tedly.

完全にハマった!!
J.R. Wa dの作りあげた世界に入り込んでしまった!!2日と半日で読んでしまった(*^^*) 今回のヒーローは、前作から気になってた登場人物の一人Rhage。昔から、外見のやたら綺麗なヒーローには感情移入したことないんだけど、Wa dの描くヒーロー像はただ綺麗なだけじゃないんですね。彼の苦しみや性格などがちゃんと書き込まれ、その性格のわかり易さ(単純さ?!)も手伝って、Rhageのファンになってしまった私。 他の登場人物の描かれ方とプロットの巧さは、今更言うまでもないでしょう(^^)v 今は続けて「Love Awakened」を読んでいますが、パワーは衰えていません。J.R. Wa dって凄い!!
「Black Dagger Brotherhood」シリーズ２：Rhage
６人のBlack Dagge B othe hoodの中のベスト・ファイターで、ハリウッド・スターのように美しい金髪碧眼の容姿と背中に色鮮やかな竜の刺青をもつ戦士Rhage。Sc i e Vi gin（ヴァンパイア界の神のような存在？）の呪いによって体に封じ込まれた竜がいつ何時あらわれて仲間を危険に晒してしまうか不安に思いながらも、本能のまま荒々しく戦い続ける彼の前に突如現れた１人の女性。天涯孤独で白血病という重い病と闘いながら明るく生きる心優しいMa yの声を聞いた瞬間から、Rhageは自分でもよくわからないまま激しく彼女に惹かれていくようになる。彼の熱心なアプローチにとまどうMa yだが、彼らの前にまたしてもlesse の影が忍び寄り、彼女も彼らの戦いへと巻き込まれていく・・。 Rhageだけでなく彼の中の竜までMa yに夢中になるところがおもしろかったかな♪Rhageの単純明快な性格もとってもかわいいなと思いました。今回は次のお話のヒーローとヒロインの出会いのシーンや彼女がlesse に誘拐されるところがあり、それと平行してBlack Dagge B othe hoodの証となる印を胸に持つ謎の少年(もしかしたらあの人の・・）も現れて、ますます目の離せない展開となってます。次回がとっても楽しみです！

時は現代、LucanはB eed（吸血鬼）の戦士のリーダーで、Bloodlustに陥り無差別に人間を襲う同輩Rogueを仲間と共に狩っています。彼らB eedは、実は千年前異星から来たエイリアンで、特別な遺伝子を持った人間の女性B eedmateと結ばれなければ子孫を残せないという宿命を背負っています。が、Lucanはその責務の重さ故に情の全てを捨て、Rogueを一掃することだけを目標に900年間孤高に生きてきました。 そんな時現れたのが、偶然Rogue達が人間を殺害する場面を見てしまったGa ielle。その場に居合わせたLucanは、自分を刑事と偽ってGa ielleに近づき彼女から事件の記憶を消そうとしますが、彼女にどうしようもなく惹かれていきます。実は彼女はB eedmateであり、強い意志と特別な能力を併せ持つ女性だったのです。その事実に気づき彼女から遠ざかろうとするLucanですが、同時に彼女を守り愛したいという今まで知らなかった感情に身を焦がします。 Lucanは戦士だけあり立派な体格で外目にもとても魅力的。厳格な戦士でありながらロマンチックで、Ga ielleを誘惑する手腕はなかなかです。今まで誰にも心を許した事のない彼がGa ielleに自分を曝け出して行く過程が良いです。Ga ielleもその一途さと意志の強さで彼を守り支えていきます。激しくなっていくRogue達との戦い、謎の敵リーダー、そして他の戦士達の絆と友情という見所もありで、ドラマ性に長けています。シリーズ物として良い導入話になっていると思います。 Vampi eものは結構読んでいますが、この作品は重厚さもありアクションありロマンスありで、２度読み返してもハマったので☆５つです。

This ook was a g eat ead. I thou oughly enjoy eading a out Me y and he men. In fact I guess I'm one of the few people that the sex doesn't othe (although I could eally, eally do without the whole sex with the go lin scene.) F om oth ooks the eade comes to ealize that the Fey a e a ve y sensual and sexual ace. So it would make sense that the e is going to e sex! And if pa t of the plot is that Me y needs to get p egnant, well then, she must have sex. My pe sonal peeves with this ook is that Lau ell took the cha acte s ack to Califo nia. I enjoyed eading a out the Fey society, and Me y's inte action with them. The plot was a it skimpy, ut enough to keep me eading it well into the night. In DeathシリーズNo.８のMidnight in Death (もちろんこの作品が先に書かれたわけですが、シリーズNo.30のC eation in Deathにプロットが似ています。面白かったです。★×４)、シリーズNo.14のInte lude in Death（ロークのオリンパスリゾートを舞台に殺人事件が起きます。イヴとロークの意外な過去のつながりがほのめかされ、必読の作品です。ノベラの中では私の一番のお気に入りです。★×4.5）、そしてシリーズNo.26のHaunted in Death（In Deathシリーズには似つかわしくない、パラノーマルなお話で、ゴーストがでてきます。ちょっとがっかりさせられた作品でした。★×３）の3作品が収録されています。まだお読みになられていない方はこの機会に読まれたらいかがでしょうか？
opinion
Although this was quite a good ook that I ead fo hou s on end, it disappointed me when I ealized that it had the same plot as all the p evious 'in Death' ooks... we meet the designated a-hole in the eginning of the ook, who seems quite innocent, and afte countless plot twists and empty leads, su p ise, ou culp it eveals himself. Hopefully the next ook will e diffe ent. Don't get me w ong though, this ook is still ve y well-w itten and dese ves a ead if you' e a fan, and if you just got too much time on you hands, like me!! I would also highly ecommend eading Tino Geo giou's estselling novel--The Fates--if you haven't yet!!
