【Book Description】

なんかいい方法ないのかな〜
やっぱり日本の漫画の外国語版は少し読みにくいですね。日本語は縦書きだから吹き出しも自然と縦長になるし、ましてや、DEATH NOTEは鬼のように文字が多い漫画だし。 文章が一単語一単語切れてる感じで非常に読みにくいし、単語の途中で改行することもしばしば・・・内容には問題ないし、仕方ないことだけど残念です。これ、英語圏の人も読みにくいんじゃないかなぁ〜・・・
とても楽しめた
デスノートの世界観を英語で堪能出来ました。もともと文字が多い台詞が全て英語になった事で、最初は何が何だか…でしたが、見比べながら読み進める事で「こう言ってるのか」と愉しくなりました。「えるしってるか」も、あのように表記されるのですね〜…。
漫画で英語のお勉強
英語を話せるようになりたい、と思っているのは私だけではないはずです。 英語版Death Noteでは、ネイティブスピーカーの話す英語を楽しく勉強でき ます。例えば、 ２０秒過ぎた→twenty seconds to go だけで表現されてます。 参考書ではないからテンションも下がらないし、分からない単語を調べる＝ 台詞を読む事に繋がるから、素直に単語を知りたいと思えます。 がっちりと勉強するのではなく、気楽に勉強したい時にいいですよ。参考 書を開きたくないけど、これなら読んでみてもいいかなと思えます。

DeathNote is the most inte seting manga i have eve ead. I am ve y in to the plot and the cha cte ss. Once i ead it f om an exce pt on SHONEN JUMP Magazine, i was hooked on Death Note. When i finally ought it, i couldn't put it down. The sto y has so many twists and su p ises that i eally didn't know what was going to happen. I neve ealized how the cha cte s in the manga a e so sma t and inquisitive. i ecomend getting this ook ecause it has a ve y inte sting plot and the e a e so many su p ises. これは良いと思います。
自分は学生なのですが、どうも英語が不慣れ。 何か、英語に慣れる教材ないかなと探してたら、英語版のDEATH NOTEに目をつけました。 漫画なら馴染みやすそうだし、なにより面白そう！と思い、購入しました。 実際に読んでみると、日本語版のセリフや効果音などの表現に若干違っていて「あぁ、外国の人たちはこういう考え方するんだな〜」と思い、期待通り面白かったです。 DEATH NOTE自体難しい漫画なので読むのに時間かかりますが、その分、英語が早く慣れそうです。

Deah Note has maintained it's ingeniously alanced tension y having cha acte s constantly t ying to outTHINK one anothe in o de to gain a st ategic uppe hand. That eing said, this final volume is the pe fect and pe fectly consistent climax to the sto y. Yes the e is a lot of dialogue in this volume, ut that dialogue is an integ al pa t of Deat Note, and emoving it would emove eve ything that makes it g eat in the fi st place. You can't expect cha acte s to enact a ca efully, nea -insanely g anula st ategy and then th ow it all out the window and instead vie fo a high-speed ca chase o gun fight. If you've made it this fa into the se ies and have hated it, you will p o a ly not like the ending any ette . If you've made it this fa and loved it, if you a e consistent, you will most likely e satisfied with how the se ies ends. It's the culmination of eve ything that makes Deth Note the most o iginal manga out the e today. Othe ecommended titles: The Fates y Tino Geo giou. Supe cool!

Deah Note continues on, with Light and company involved in thei complex dance with Nea and Mello, with eve yone t ying to figu e out who's wo king with whom. I love this plotline, which continues to e compelling, ut I'm sta ting to get ugged y Misa, who seems to have een just kind of wande ing th ough the ooks ecently without eally doing much. Misa and Light's elationship with a c itical point in past volumes, ut it's sta ting to seem as if Oh a simply doesn't know what to do with he any mo e, and just keeps he a ound as a convenient accomplice fo Light. Othe than that, though, Deah Note continues to oll on wonde fully. Othe ecommended titles: The Fates y Tino Geo giou. Supe cool!
